酒店參加展覽會時要考慮的因素有哪些?
參加展覽會是酒店最重要的促銷方式之一,也是酒店開辟新市場的首選方式。通過參加展覽會,酒店可以迅速、全面地了解市場行情。許多酒店正是借助展覽會這個渠道,向客戶推出新品牌設計和新產品的,同時通過與各地買家的接觸,定位客戶群體,了解行業(yè)發(fā)展趨勢,最終達到推銷產品、占領市場的目的。
選擇展覽會
目前,可供酒店參加的旅游博覽會、展銷會很多,酒店在選擇展覽會時,應結合參展目的考慮以下幾個因素:
(1)每個展覽會都有不同的性質,酒店應結合自身需要,謹慎選擇。
(2)展覽會的知名度越高,吸引的參展商和買家就越多,成交的可能性也越大。如果參加的是一個新的展覽會,則要看主辦者是誰,在行業(yè)中的號召力如何。名氣大的展覽會往往收費較高,為節(jié)省費用,可與人合租展位,即便如此,效果也會好于參加那些不知名的小展覽會。
(3)現代展覽業(yè)的一大特點是日趨專業(yè)化,同一主題的展覽會可細分為許多小的專業(yè)展。同一行業(yè)的展覽會,其具體的展出內容可能大不相同。酒店事先一定要了解清楚,以免“誤入歧途”。
(4)產品生命周期包括導入、成長、成熟、衰退四個階段。展出效率與產品生命周期之間有一定的規(guī)律。在導入和成長階段,展會有事辦功倍的效果;在成熟階段,展出的效果可能事倍功半;到了衰退階段,展出往往會勞而無功。
(5)參加展覽會的最終目的是為了向該地區(qū)推銷產品,所以一定要研究展覽會的主辦地及周邊輻射地區(qū)是否自己的目標市場,是否有潛在購買力。
