目前,酒店的營銷部門設(shè)置要有以下三種類型
1.按地理區(qū)域設(shè)置營銷部門
按照酒店客戶的地理區(qū)域來配置酒店銷售力量,是酒店營銷部門設(shè)置中使用得較為廣泛的一種形式。其特點是可委派銷售人員專門負責(zé)向某個地區(qū)范圍內(nèi)所有顧客推銷酒店的全部產(chǎn)品。這樣可以減少銷售訪問的次數(shù),把訪問里程縮小到最短,且不存在哪些顧客應(yīng)包括在哪個銷售人員的職責(zé)范圍之內(nèi)的爭議,以提高工作效率。這種形式要求銷售人員是多面手,必須了解酒店品牌設(shè)計的主要性與全部的產(chǎn)品和服務(wù),并能夠熟練地與各種顧客打交道。
2.按產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)類別設(shè)置營銷部門
經(jīng)營多種產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)的酒店常常按產(chǎn)品類別配置銷售力量。其最大優(yōu)點是由于各自負責(zé)某類產(chǎn)品,銷售人員會具備豐富的產(chǎn)品知識。這樣便能增強其在此類產(chǎn)品中的競爭能力,并獲得較高水平的銷售額。銷售人員直接負責(zé)某種產(chǎn)品的銷售,還有助于開發(fā)此類產(chǎn)品,使酒店具備產(chǎn)品開發(fā)商的領(lǐng)先優(yōu)勢。按產(chǎn)品設(shè)置營銷部門的缺點是費用開支較高,因為在同一地理區(qū)域內(nèi)可能支付兩個或兩個以上銷售人員的推銷費用,如果溝通不當,容易造成幾個爭奪同一個客戶,使客戶感到不方便。
3.按細分市場設(shè)置酒店營銷部門
這種形式是以市場細分為基礎(chǔ)的,不同的銷售人員專門負責(zé)不同的顧客群體,這樣有利于酒店銷售人員與客戶建立長久的業(yè)務(wù)往來關(guān)系,且便于掌握該市場的需求和變化趨勢,這種形式適宜于都市中心的中型酒店使用。
現(xiàn)代酒店營銷部主要由銷售總監(jiān)、銷售人員、團隊協(xié)調(diào)員等組成。
